Fruit Bottling
What it's all about
Each year, typically over the March long weekend, staff and volunteers from the wider community come together to preserve food for the year to come.
We harvest fruit and vegetables from our orchards and garden, and source additional fruit from market seconds. These are turned into hundreds of jars of jams, chutneys, pickles and preserves which feed our crew and program participants throughout the year.
